You may have discovered a passion for music at a very young age, when an accompanying figure stood out as your initial inspiration. Perhaps it was a musical parent, softly cooing you to slumber in the rocking chair with an old rendition of a family favorite. Or maybe it was an early childhood music teacher who told you it was okay to let go and feel the beat. It could've even been that kooky high school guidance counselor with a guitar in his office! Whoever it may have been, they were likely the inspiration that led you to find your passion for music, and gifted you with the possibilities that come with it. From there you would learn the diversity music would provide you - self awareness, acceptance, confidence to be bold and take chances, as well as a connection to a variety of people and the ability to form support networks, communities and careers. It's a form of art that truly taps into your very being and brings with it immense pleasure and joy. 
Sound Roots was founded on a passion for music. The proof of this is seen when you walk through the school late on a Friday night, lights dimly lit, voices and rhythms beating through the walls with beautiful vibration. Not just from classes, but from a desire to create music, record music and simply play.
Our lessons strive to be inspirational, and are formatted to identify your learning styles and personalize a learning platform from which you can launch your own musical goals and dreams, whatever they may be! We have the resources and support to help you.
We don't just teach music, we live it. Our vision is to help you further believe in yourself, find a way to tap into your soul and discover your very own passion for music.
